Where Did You Find That?!

Posted by Jessica Matrasko on

One of the most frequent questions I get is "Where do you get your stones?" My answer is, ALL OVER the world! I spend a lot of my time researching current color and style trends. Then, I source stones and other materials to create designs that are uniquely Jessica Matrasko Jewelry.

I thought it would be fun to share where some of the stones and other pieces came from here!

South African Porcupine Quills are collected from the ground after they are shed. We use them in our "Demi Earrings":

(PS- how cute is that baby porcupine?!)

One of our most popular finds, Jasper Stalactite, comes from a cave in Uruguay:

We use it in our Jasper Stalactite necklace (which happens to be on SALE!)

And, one of my favorite finds, Neolithic era arrowheads from Morocco... these little beauties are estimated to be 3,000 years old!

(Of course, they don't arrive with the gold edges, we take care of that part.
These are just about to have the finishing touches put on, since the "Lisa Necklace" is BACK IN STOCK!
